昇級審査においては、その時の技量を見るのも当然ながら、
審査に至るまでの日々の稽古の中で
自らの意志で、あいさつや気合いを出す
心を込めて稽古に取り組む。
それらがキチンとできているかどうかに
重きを置いて見ています。

普段の稽古を疎かにする者は
決して強くなることはできません。
強き意志を持つこと
主体性を持って稽古に臨むこと
審査を通じて、そうした心構えも育んでいきます。

【Advancement Test】

For advancement tests, not only do I look at the quality
of the student’s techniques, but also his/her daily doings,
from greeting manners, whether there is an initiative attitude,
and how dedicated he/she is to practice.
Those who take practiced lightly will never improve.
I expect students to carry a strong will and learn
to think independently.
These advancement tests are meant to help
students self-reflect and grow.
