昨日は宮野道場主催の
「第１６回全関西空手道選手権大会」
に４名の拳士が出場

昨日は誤差での判定や一本を取られたりなど
悔しい敗戦が続く厳しい試合となりました

目の前の壁を乗り越えることに、修行の意味がある
また稽古を積んで、もう１段上のステージを
目指して行こう!!

All Kansai Karate Open Tournament

Yesterday was the 16th All Kansai Karate Open Tournament
held by Miyano Dojo. There were 4 fighters
paricipating this day from our end.
It was a struggle with the opponent
taking an ippon in a match and a 2-1 judge call
at the end of another.
When we can overcome the obstacle in front of us,
we know practices and training pay off.
Lets continue to build one practice
on top of another to reach our next level!!

トマム、セリ、シュウマの
アスリートクラスの上級メンバーたちは
今回、他流の選手とのワンマッチを
闘ってもらうことになりました。

闘志をむき出して、勝利を掴みに行く
魂のぶつかり合いは、３試合とも再延長にまでもつれる
熱い、熱い、名勝負の連続!!
周りの道場生、保護者たちも目が釘付けでした。

初中級の子たちも、こうしたハイレベルな
上級者の試合を見て、大きな刺激や学びを得られたことと思います
いつかはこの舞台で闘えるように
また精進していきましょう!!

【The Battle of the Day】

The advanced members of the Athlete Level Class
had a one match duel with other participants
of different methods.
There were 3 duels, all of which went into an extended match!!
The fighters were eager and aggressively going after the win.
They were very intense that the Dojo students
and the parents were all focused on these matches.
I believe the beginner level kids felt something
watching such an advanced duel up close.
Don’t we want to be on the mat like these guys?
Let us all be diligent and continue to make progress!!

13年前に始めた、初の道内大会「天志チャレンジカップ」

初めは道場の中で行なっていたこの大会も
回を重ねるごとに参加者も増え
今では豊中武道館ひびきで行うまでになりました。

道場訓にもある『勇気を持って挑戦する心、あきらめない心』
それを体現し、心技体の成長を加速させる場として
このチャレンジカップをやり続けていきたいと思います。

【A Place To Challenge Yourself and Be Courageous】

The Tenshi Challenge Cup began 13 years ago,
the first to hold a tournament within the Dojo.
As the years went by the number of participants increased,
its efforts now as big as Toyonaka Budokan.
The Dojo’s philosophy- “To have the courageous spirit
and challenge oneself, to have the spirit not to give up” –
this is felt and experienced, and I plan to continue
the Challenge Cup as a place for the participants to evolve
and accelerate their growth of techniques, power, and spirit.

The 14th Tenshi Challenge Cup has successfully ended.
The fighting spirit, energy, happiness,
laughters and touching moments were all there.

新しく男の子が入門しました
最年少ながらも、しっかりと集中して
稽古に臨んでいるようです。
これから一緒に頑張っていこう!!

チャレンジカップに向けての練習もこの日が最後
みんな燃えていて練習にも熱が入っていたようです。

新千里生え抜きメンバーの子たちは
ほとんどが出場してきます。
また、春に入門した子たちも、
初めての大舞台へのチャレンジ。
みんなの活躍を期待しています!!

9/7 (Thurs.) Shinsenri Dojo

We welcomed a new member to the Dojo,
now the youngest here yet! He seems
to be focused and committed already.
We are happy to have him!
Today is also the last practice prior the Challenge Cup,
so everyone seems to be putting in more power and energy.
Most of the kids here will be participating in the Challenge Cup.
The kids who also just joined this past spring
will also be making their spotlight debut…
such ambitious kids!
I have high hopes and expectations
and look forward to seeing everyone there!!

Sunday Karate Class At Takagawa Dojo
On Sunday some of the kids from the main Dojo
also participated in the Sunday class at Takagawa Dojo.
The A/C is working here so it’s quite comfortable,
but the kids ran and really went at it with the mitts
and kumite so they were all sweaty at the end!
We now have a week until the Challenge Cup.
Let’s keep going everyone!!

昨日は月例の組手会でした。

ジュニア、一般共に新たな参加者もあり、熱気もさらに上昇！
燃える仲間でしのぎを削り合うことで、みんなのレベルアップも著しく、
新世代の成長ぶりを僕も肌で感じましたね。

帰宅後は、頑張った自分にご褒美。

【Getting Heated Up In Here! August Kumite Assembly】

Yesterday was our monthly Kumite Assembly.
There were new participants in the
General Group and Junior level and
it was as full of excitement as ever!
Everyone was striking aggressively and
going head-to-head with each other.
They all improved by the minute.
I felt that the new generation surely grows and learns fast.
After I got home, I treated myself to a little something!

昨日は姫路で行われた世界総極真主催の
近畿大会にチセとトモキが出場

２人とも初戦突破ならずでしたが
フルコンタクトルールの上級クラスで闘うには
何をより強化すればよいかがわかったと思います。

稽古で課題にしっかり取り組み
また次の試合に向かって頑張りましょう。

大会主催の世界総極真米山道場様
スタッフのみなさまに心よりお礼申し上げます

試合終了後は、弁天町に移動
RKSフェニックス様主催の格闘技イベントに出場する
内藤先生の応援に行ってきました。

※空手以外にも、キックやプロレスなどの試合もあり
観客を盛り上げていました

※内藤先生の試合は再延長までもつれる接戦に!!

１週間前に急きょオファーがあり、
調整面や初めてのリングでの試合で
相当なプレッシャーもあったことと思いますが
最後まであきらめない粘り強さで
再延長判定で勝つことができました。
内藤先生の天志魂、立派でした!!

前日のヒーコさんの昇段審査に続き
この土日は内藤家にとって
思い出深い２日間になりましたね。
おめでとうございます!!

Yesterday Naito Sensei participated
in a martial arts event sponsored
by RSK Phoenix in Bentencho.
He was offered to participate only a week
in advance of the event, not to mention
this was his first fight inside the ring.
There must have been a tremendous amount of pressure
but he fought aggressively. The match was extended twice,
and the refereeing panel’s decision was Naito Sensei’s win.
His Tenshi soul was indeed something to have pulled this off!!
The day before, his wife Hiko san had just advanced to a black belt.
This weekend definitely must have been
a memorable one for the Naito family!
