施設見学会&会員懇親会に参加させていただきました。
知らない分野のお話を聞いたり、
違う業種の方々との交流で、多くの学びや刺激を受けました。

Yesterday I attended a guided tour
and member’s reception hosted
by Osaka Chamber of Commerce Industrial Department
at Osaka Granfront’s Fuha.
It was interesting to hear about another industry
I’m not too familiar with and it was quite
the learning experience for me.

先日58才で黒帯昇段を果たした
シライさんから教えていただいた
「青春」という詩に感動!!
“生涯青春”を貫いていきたいですね!!
「青春」サミエル・ウルマン
青春とは人生の或る期間を言うのではなく心の様相を言うのだ。
優れた創造力、逞しき意志、炎ゆる情熱、怯懦を却ける勇猛心、
安易を振り捨てる冒険心、こう言う様相を青春と言うのだ。
年を重ねただけで人は老いない。理想を失う時に初めて老いがくる。
歳月は皮膚のしわを増すが、情熱を失う時に精神はしぼむ。
苦悶や、狐疑や、不安、恐怖、失望、こう言うものこそ恰も長年
月の如く人を老いさせ、精気ある魂をも芥に帰せしめてしまう。
年は七十であろうと、十六であろうと、
その胸中に抱き得るものは何か。
曰く驚異への愛慕心、空にきらめく星辰、その輝きにも似たる
事物や思想に対する欽仰、事に処する剛毅な挑戦、小児の如く
求めて止まぬ探求心、人生への歓喜と興味。
人は信念と共に若く 疑惑と共に老ゆる。
人は自信と共に若く 失望と共に老ゆる。
希望ある限り若く 失望と共に老い朽ちる。
大地より、神より、人より、美と喜悦、勇気と壮大、そして
偉力の霊感を受ける限り人の若さは失われない。
これらの霊感が絶え、悲嘆の白雪が人の心の奥までも蔽いつくし、
皮肉の厚氷がこれを固くとざすに至れば、この時にこそ
人は全くに老いて神の憐れみを乞うる他はなくなる。

昨日は龍壱道場主催の奈良ジュニアリーグ戦でした。
今回チャレンジした初中級の子たちは、
まずは経験をどんどん積む段階。
その中で、勝って奢らず、負けて腐らず。
また次のチャレンジに向かって
稽古で己の刃を研ぎ澄ませ、
さらなる高みを目指して行きましょう。

Yesterday was Nara Prefecture’s Junior
Tournament hosted by Tatsuuichi Dojo.
For the beginner and intermediate
level students who participated,
it was more about gaining experience than the results.
We look forward to the next challenges and
in the meantime we continue to improve and
hone ourselves through practice, to achieve high.
Thank you to Nakanishi Sensei and
the staff of Tatsuuichi Dojo,
as well as all the other Sensei from different groups,
parents, and those who showed up to support.

少年部の基本稽古では、
５年生のセリに号令係をやってもらいました
上級になって試合でも様々な経験を積んできたことで
フワフワしていた子が、今ではしっかりとした
良い「姉御」に育ってくれています(=^・^=)
In the Youth Group’s basic practice,
5th grader Seri was in charge of the commands.
She has experienced several tournaments and
is at an advanced level now.
The girl who used to be soft is now
a big sister who everyone looks up to!
