日曜日は、滋賀で行われた京空会主催のサバキゲームに
８名の拳士が出場

高校生クラスでは、シュウマが優勝
一般クラス相手のチャレンジクラスのリーグ戦では
惜しくも勝利ならずでしたが
２年ぶりに出場したこの大会で
稽古の成果を発揮してくれました。
高校生になり、体力、筋力ともに
しっかりついてきて、
これからますます強くなっていくでしょうね。

ジュニアは初中級の子たち中心のメンバーで
初出場の子もいましたが、勝ち星も上げることができ、
それぞれ良い経験ができたようです。
さらなる強さを目指し、またチャレンジを続けていきましょう。

【”Sabaki” Game】
sabaki” means to manage or handle something well. In this context,
“sabaki” game means a match between the players
to see who can grapple their opponent well
A “sabaki” game sponsored by Kyoku Association was held
in Shiga Prefecture, and 8 of our students participated.
In the high school level class, Shuma won.
In the Challenge class tournament, he unfortunately
lost, however, even though he did not participate
in this for 2 years, his hard work and efforts from
his daily practices showed. Now that he is a high school student,
his body has changed, his muscles are becoming firm and
he is surely becoming stronger.
At the junior level, we had first-time participants
at all levels, and there were also a few who earned winning points.
I hope this was a valuable experience for all
and that we will strive to become stronger and face new challenges.
I’d like to thank the host Mr.Suzuki and Iwai Shihan
of the Kyoku Association and their staff for hosting this tournament,
as well as our Naito Sensei, and the parents for their support.
